Tungsten Needle
Pure tungsten needle is needle made of the material of pure tungsten, which is a very hard and steel-gray metal that is brittle and hard to work. However, if made pure enough, although tungsten retains its hardness (which exceeds that of many steels), tungsten needle becomes malleable enough that it can be worked easily. Tungsten needle can be worked by forging, drawing, extruding or sintering.
Tungsten alloy needle is tungsten needle made of tungsten alloy, such as 90WNiFe and 90WNiFe. The hardness of tungsten alloy is much less than pure tungsten and tungsten carbide, so that tungsten alloy needle can be moulded and processed easily. Therefore, the tungsten alloy needle is not as brittle as pure tungsten needle, and is not as hard as tungsten carbide needle.
Tungsten carbide needle is tungsten needle made of the material of tungsten carbide. Tungsten carbide needle owns high hardness, which is around 90 hrc. Since the tungsten carbide needle is the hardest in these three needles, so the tungsten carbide needle can be used to the industries, which needs the tungsten needle to penetrate hard material.
The surface condition of tungsten needle can be bright and smooth. There are no stains, dirt, oxides, drawing tracks, scratches and damages on the surface of tungsten needle.
The tip shapes of tungsten needle are tapered and flat. Now what we produce is the flat one, and it owns different diameter and length. We would like our products to be various for customers. What is more, we can manufacture the tungsten needle according to customers’ requirements.
